Burkholder Construction, in my opinion, is the finest in Northern Michigan. They built our home, located on the Peninsula, East Bay, in 1986 and we are so pleased with everything, that we would like others to know about this fine organization.
I think the thing that made building this time a pleasurable experience for me was... there were no hidden surprises; they anticipated problems before they arose. We met with Burkholder every other week. All costs were spelled out. We knew right up front what things were going to cost. There was never a question about where the money went and how it was being spent. That's one thing I respect.
